We provide services to Farmington , Farmington Hills , Novi , Livonia , Northville , Plymouth , Westland , Canton , Dearborn , Metro Detroit
Our services are available seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Our standard care hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.; however, if you require services outside of these hours, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Availability varies based on current client requests and timeframe. We highly suggest at least 72 hours’ advance notice when possible. Emergency pet sitting appointments are available as well. Please contact us for more information.
Preparing For Your Pet Sitter
Below are some simple tips that can help you prepare for our visits:
PREPARING YOUR PET
• Make pet care reservations early, especially during the holidays.
• Leave pet food, treats, leash, and supplies in one place.
• Ensure medications are clearly marked.
• Make sure that your pet has a collar with current identification tags.
• Feel free to leave a clothing item of yours as a “security blanket” for your pet.
• Create a list of possible favorite hiding places (if applicable).
• Notify Cozy Care of any off-limit areas–both for your pets and your pet sitter.
• Adjust your home’s temperature for your pet’s comfort before you leave.
• Please leave an outside light on (or a timed light) ifyour pet sitter is to arrive after dark.
• Inform your alarm company of Cozy Care’s visits.
• Notify your vet that your pets will be in our care.
PREPARING YOUR HOME
Place vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies, towels, etc. where they are quickly accessible.
• List any off-limit areas of your home for both pets and sitter.
• Consider leaving a television or radio on for your pet.
• Make sure your garage door is locked/ secured.
• Notify your neighbors of your absence and use of a pet sitter.
