To provide you extreme protection and peace of mind, all of our professional pet sitters are bonded. Our insurance policy is specified for exactly what we do and matches industry standards. Several insurance liability policies exclude coverage for damage to personal property in care, custody, and control. However, our insurance and bonding maintains superb coverage for our clients.
OUR POLICIES
As mentioned above, all of our pet sitters are bonded, which includes an extensive background check, and provides you protection. We will offer you proof of bonding and insurance at all initial meet-and-greet visits upon request. This document will always list expiration dates, as well as a phone number, so you can call to independently verify our coverage.
As a professional and experienced business, Cozy Care maintains a special policy feature. This item includes coverage for damage to property in care, custody, and control. That includes your pet, your home, and the property inside it too. In addition, it includes coverage for lost keys. Our basic liability coverage includes third-party protection as well.

MEET AND GREET
All new clients will get a “meet and greet” visit, where your pet and the pet sitter or business owner will will get to know one another prior to the first appointment, and make sure it’s a good fit! Each complimentary appointment is done in the client’s home.

Karissa has worked with pets for over 15 years, and has managed various pet facilities. This background ensures she has an excellent professional eye for detail and safety. Her passion for pets is unmatched, and she cares for all pets as if they were her own. She enjoys her free time with her boxer lab mix, Australian shepherd mix, and bossy but sweet little yorkie baby.
Sherry is a retired veterinary technician with 25 years’ experience in the industry. Her love for pets is so obvious. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her two rottweilers, German shepherd, horse, and blue-fronted Amazon.
